Two sessions to provide information for those University departments and centers that will have guests parking in this garage: Aug. 13, Aug. 15.

The Health Sciences Garage (previously Banner Garage A) will open Monday, Aug. 19, for those who have purchased permits (specific to that garage).

Visitor parking will be available on the top level only and will require payment.

June 24, 2019 Update

Replacement of glass panels on the north exterior side of the building will take place Monday (6/24) and Tuesday (6/25) nights from 8pm – 4am.  This work will continue on Wednesday  (6/26) and Thursday (6/27) nights from 8pm to 4 am.

The Health Sciences Innovation Building (HSIB) is currently considered an active construction site and, for the safety of all, no unauthorized persons should be entering or walking through the building unaccompanied.  Certain, specific events have been allowed by the contractor prior to the official opening.  Attendees of any event should remain in the vicinity of the designated event space.

Last night SWG began working on the Drachman Street Circle and will continue through 1/7/2019. Please see the area designated in purple in the attached map.  Work hours in the Drachman Circle are restricted to 8PM – 6AM.  The pedestrian routes will be maintained per the attached map.

11/13/18 

Installation of glass and metal panels on the exterior of the building will take place Sunday – Thursday nights from 8 p.m. – 4:30 a.m. for 3 weeks through the end of November.

The work will take place on the north and east sides of the building. Drachman Street, east of Cherry, including the Drachman Circle will be closed to traffic during these hours while a crane parks in the street to move the materials.

Health Sciences Innovation Building (HSIB) 

There will be construction on Saturdays, November 10th and 17th and December 1st as exterior panels and equipment are installed on the north side of the building. A crane will be parked on Drachman east of Cherry, but the street and the Drachman Circle will remain open. Traffic will be directed by flaggers. The sidewalk on the north side of Drachman will be open for pedestrians.

Drachman St., east of Cherry, including the Drachman Circle will be closed to traffic tonight from 8:00 pm – 2:00 am so that a crane can load materials onto the roof of the building. The sidewalk on the north side of Drachman will remain open for pedestrians. Kitchell has scheduled this work overnight so that Drachman won’t be closed during the day.
