Health Sciences Innovation Building


This new facility is a multi-disciplinary, interprofessional education and simulated practice building fostering trans-disciplinary collaborations and serving as a unique place for interactions between multidisciplinary teams of health professionals, students and faculty in medicine, nursing, pharmacy and public health. In addition to flexible large, medium and small group/team learning areas the facility includes a state-of-the-art clinical skills and simulations center for a broad spectrum of instruction and applications.

The 220,000-square-foot structure, to be located adjacent to the Medical Research Building (MRB) on the UA Health Sciences campus, will serve as the vanguard for interprofessional health education in the United States.
